Terms and conditions of business

1) Seller identity

2) Purpose and scope of application

These GTC govern any order placed online on the GVATransport.com website(hereinafter “the Site”), relating in particular to:
  • transfers(airport, station, hotel, appointment);
  • availability service(hourly, half-day or full day);
  • chauffeur / concierge services when sold online;
  • options(child seats, name sign welcome, specific requirements, etc.);
  • gift vouchers.
By validating an order, the Client declares that they have read and accepted these GTC.

3) Definitions

Client:the natural or legal person placing the order.
Service:chauffeur-driven transport service and/or related services.
Order:purchase made via the Site(online payment or payment link).
No-show:absence of the Client at the meeting point and/or inability to contact them.

4) Pre-contractual information – online order

The Site presents the essential information relating to the services and the price before validation.
The Client must verify the accuracy of the information entered(date, time, addresses, flight, train, options)before confirming.
The conclusion of the contract in Switzerland is based on offer and acceptance(Code of Obligations).

5) Conclusion of the contract

The contract is deemed concluded when:
  • the Client validates the order on the Site;
  • the order is confirmed(automatically and/or by e-mail)by GVATransport.
IDI Services reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of manifestly incorrect information, suspicion of fraud, or unavailability.

6) Conditions of access to the services

The Client guarantees:
  • that they are of legal age and have the capacity to contract, or are duly authorized for a legal entity;
  • provide accurate and complete information;
  • comply with safety rules on board(seat belt, behavior, etc.).

7) Prices – quotations – supplements

The prices displayed are indicated in CHF, unless otherwise stated.
Unless otherwise stated on the Site, the price may include an estimate based on the information provided(addresses, schedules, options).
The following may in particular be subject to supplements(if not included in the displayed price):
  • additional waiting time;
  • at the airport: 45 minutes of waiting time included from the arrival of the flight. ;
  • at the hotel / station or other location: 15 minutes included;
  • significant route modifications;
  • additional stops;
  • tolls;
  • parking fees;
  • specific access;
  • late requests(less than 24h);
The final applicable amount is the one displayed and/or confirmed at the time of validation and/or in the order confirmation.

8) Payment

Payment is made according to the methods offered at the time of the order(for example bank card, TWINT, bank transfer, payment link).
Unless otherwise stated:
  • the order is payable at the time of ordering or according to the rule indicated on the Site(deposit / balance);
  • in the event of payment failure, the order may be automatically cancelled.

9) Client obligations(essential information)

To correctly perform the service, the Client must provide at minimum:
  • name and reachable telephone number;
  • number of passengers;
  • luggage volume;
  • exact departure and arrival addresses;
  • desired schedules;
  • flight or train number where applicable;
  • mandatory options(e.g. child seat), which must be requested in advance.
Failing this, IDI Services cannot guarantee optimal execution(for example the impossibility of providing a child seat requested at the last minute).

10) Performance of services – punctuality – substitution

IDI Services provides a high-end service with a professional chauffeur.
The chauffeur waits at the agreed place at the confirmed time(or recalculated according to the flight or train information, when communicated).
As a general rule, chauffeurs arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the pick-up time, as a courtesy.
Substitution / upgrade:in the event of an operational contingency(breakdown, fleet constraints, safety), IDI Services may replace the vehicle with a vehicle of equivalent or higher category, at no additional cost to the Client.

11) Waiting time(standard online shop rule)

Unless a specific condition is displayed at the time of the order:
  • 15 minutes of waiting time are included from the confirmed pick-up time;
  • beyond that: CHF 25 per 15-minute block(equivalent to CHF 100 / hour), charged as a supplement.
Specific conditions may apply for certain services(airport, events, multi-stop bookings)and are then indicated on the Site or in the confirmation.

12) Cancellation – modification – no-show

12.1 Cancellation(standard policy)
Unless specifically indicated at the time of the order:
  • - more than 24h before the scheduled time: 100% refund(excluding non-refundable payment provider fees, if applicable);
  • - between 24h and 12h before: 50% of the amount charged;
  • - less than 12h before: 100% of the amount charged.
12.2 Modification
Any modification(time, addresses, stops, vehicle, options)must be requested as early as possible. IDI Services will confirm feasibility and any possible price adjustment.
12.3 No-show
In the event of a no-show, the service is due at 100%, including if the Client cannot be reached or does not appear at the meeting point.
12.4 Absence of a general legal right of withdrawal(Switzerland)
In Switzerland, there is no general legal right of withdrawal for online purchases.

13) Gift vouchers / vouchers(if offered)

Unless otherwise stated on the voucher:
  • validity: 12 months from the date of purchase;
  • not exchangeable for cash;
  • usable in one or more instalments(if necessary, a remaining balance may be retained);
  • in the event of a price increase, a supplement may be requested.

14) Rules on board – damage – cleanliness

The vehicle is a premium space.
Unless expressly authorized:
  • smoking is prohibited(including e-cigarettes) cantonal law;
  • respect for the vehicle and the chauffeur.
Any damage, significant soiling, or behavior requiring immobilization or exceptional cleaning may be charged to the Client upon reasonable supporting documents.

15) Personal items – luggage

The Client remains responsible for their personal belongings.
IDI Services may assist in the search for a lost item, without guaranteeing any result.
Return costs(if applicable)may be re-invoiced.

16) Force majeure – external events

IDI Services cannot be held responsible for a delay or impediment linked to an event beyond its control(exceptional traffic, weather, accident, checks, road closure, strike, administrative decisions, etc.).
If the service must be extended, additional time may be charged according to the waiting time / time rule.

17) Data protection(FADP – Switzerland)

Personal data are processed in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection(FADP), which entered into force on 1 September 2023.
IDI Services processes in particular the data necessary for:
  • management of orders and services;
  • operational communication(pick-up, modifications);
  • billing and support.

18) Intellectual property

All elements of the Site(texts, visuals, logos, trademarks)are protected. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

19) Applicable law and jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Swiss law. Subject to mandatory provisions, the legal venue is Geneva(Switzerland).

20) Final provisions

If one clause is deemed invalid, the others remain applicable.
IDI Services may amend the GTC; the applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.
